Windows 7 and SSD

Got my bootable USB drive with Windows 7 all ready to go for my HP Mini 1000 upgrade and chickened out. Solid state drives don’t do well with NTFS and Win 7 requires NTFS. Waiting to hear how others fair but came across this note and this from last november.

Tim Sneath’s new post “The bumper list of Windows 7 Secrets” (item 12) gives me new confidence. I may get up the courage top take the plunge tomorrow.
