Storm Damage
Yesterday’s little storm (Stories: one and two) took a path very close to our own back yard, though by then it had died way down. We lost a couple big already-dead cottonwoods. The large birds in the area like to stand watch in these tall barren monoliths, which is why my neighbor and I decided to leave them up. While fairly common in the wide open eastern plains of Colorado, this is fortunately a less than once-in-a-lifetime event this close to Fort Collins.
