After listening toBeth Massi (http://blogs.msdn.com/bethmassi/ ) for a couple hours this evening, I’m almost convinced (regarding VB). Almost. What an engaging presenter!

I still maintain that VB promotes Bad Habits! (like laziness with case sensitivity — which yet again comes back to haunt you when using LINQ to XML!).

I was delighted to see her example showing use of Virtual Earth’s API and the geo-coordinate service at  http://geocoder.us for address mapping.  Will add this to the growing collection of goodies for my GIS/WPF/Mapping sandbox. 

On to The Big Event tomorrow!
