Morale-o-Meter

What effects one’s mood?  This question is one that has badgered me all my life. Some days I just don’t feel up to the day’s tasks; other day’s I feel I could take on most anything.  Early in my career at HP this jostling was bad enough to get in the way of my ability to consistently perform. Over time, I think my lifestyle has created more overall health and mood stability but is still is a very intriguing question. In fact, ever since September I have been remarkably stable and positive in general mood. I’m currently attributing this to three patterns that commenced at the same time: workouts (3/wk); daily supplements; and consistent substantial coffee/tea consumption.

 A week or so ago I came across a neat little tool: the Morale-o-Meter. I have no idea how long this will be around, but for the time being I thought I would give it a try. I keep an active copy at the bottom of my About page. It allows you to easily log your morale and health against your sleep, alcohol and caffein intake. If nothing else, its fun to watch…
