While seeking more background on Vernor Vinge, I ran into The Future and You, a blog by one Steve Cobb which apparently generates monthly podcasts on “ideas and opinion about the future based on verifiable facts of today”. Hmmm, this does look like some interesting listening. At any rate, here are podcasts of interviews with  Vernor Vinge (two at this writing; the 2nd being best).
